The London Motor Show was declared open on Thursday 5th May with a cut of the ribbon by His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent GCVO (Patron of The London Motor Show), in front of hundreds of members of the press.

Evening Reception and Preview

The London Motor Show then welcomed 1,800 invited guests for a glamourous evening reception and Show Preview, attended by HRH Prince Michael of Kent as well as motoring legends and celebrities including Tiff Needell (President of The London Motor Show), Nigel Mansell, Ben Collins, Piers Morgan, Shane Lynch (professional drift driver and former member of Boyzone), Ainsley Harriott (chef and presenter), David Ginola (footballer) and Nicola Nardelli (then Mayor of Wandsworth).
